Arizona Court Holiday Closures

Like courts throughout the United States, courts in Arizona are closed on federal holidays. Court closures due to holidays occur on:

New Year’s Day – January 1st

Martin Luther King Jr. Day – Third Monday of January

Presidents Day – Third Monday in February

Memorial Day – Last Monday of May

*Juneteenth – June 19th

Independence Day – July 4th

Labor Day – First Monday in September

*Columbus Day – Second Monday in October

Veterans Day – November 11th

Thanksgiving Day – Fourth Thursday in November

*Thanksgiving Day After – The day following Thanksgiving Day

Christmas Day – December 25th

*Not all courts will be closed on these dates.

 

Additionally, some courts follow additional closure calendars, with abbreviated hours on holidays such as Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
