[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]New Mexico’s Governor expresses regret that marijuana legalization did not pass last year, citing $100 million lost in potential revenue that could have been used for aid in the Coronavirus Pandemic.

[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]Gov. Michelle Lynn Lujan Grisham of New Mexico recently gave a press conference over the state’s response to economic distress brought by the Coronavirus pandemic. She stated that if New Mexico had passed the legalization of marijuana last year, then the state would have an  extra $100 million in the budget to use in the response. Not only could legalization bring equity and justice, it could also bring in much needed tax dollars.
