Maricopa County Attorney Pulls Back Anti-Adoption Policy

Maricopa County reverses a 5 year old policy that outsourced legal support for gay couples going through the adoption process. Since the United States officially recognized gay marriage in 2015, there has been policies put in place in states and counties across the country to hinder gay rights. Maricopa County was among the institutions that turned their backs on the newly recognized gay couples. The policy of out-sourcing the legal support for gay couples adopting a child had turned into a waste of money and slowed entire the adoption process down. Fortunately, Maricopa County’s Attorney is reversing the policy in regard to equality, financial sense, and the well being of all children who need a loving home.  If you are a family member or friend of a juvenile who needs any legal assistance, call us toll-free at 833-854-8181, or visit one of our offices out of Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, or Tempe, AZ.
